"Elle, were you even listening?"

Josh our Alpha asks with a bit of disappointment so I decided to do what others do even though it's a crazy idea.

"Yes Alpha I did"

'no, you didn't' Eliz counterpart inside my head.

"so help save us, I know you were paying attention, Eliz."

"Well guess what not this time human," she quickly denied.

"Eliz, just help me out this one time please" I beg her again in my head.

Here's a thing between my wolf and I. Eliz is always the one who pays attention when it comes to meeting in our pack while me her human side wants to be out of there every time they discuss war against rogues and war against hunters.

"And your answer to that?" this time it was the Moonbridge Alpha.

"Eliz" she hurriedly told me why everyone just strangely looks at me.

Right 4 years ago when I thought my mate was killed which later on I learn that he hasn't. I seek the help of one of my best friends who was also a witch. She agrees to help me to sever the bond since it was making me weak and I was on the brink of death.

Of course, it came with a price even though we're best friends at the time. She wouldn't do it for free. What a friend! Anyways we agree that she would do it and in return, I have to sleep with the Cascarade Alpha. He was also Serena's mate or his brother to get a secret book on all sorts of witches' spells.

Anyone who holds possession of it will become the powerful and most specialized warlock.

So I pretended to be bad, changing from goody two shoes to the number one bitch in the pack. Elders assuming that I've been sleeping with every male werewolf to get to the Alpha.

Truth be told I never did it. So I try to explain to Serena my situation but she just shut me out like the rest of the Cascade pack and was insisting on turning me into a rogue. That's how I ended up in the Alcaders pack.

Eliz explains to me they're asking if I could still get hold of the witch. The now mighty Jea, the one who now can create barriers and all spells that no one could break, not entirely my mate bond since she was giving me an option of 3 years. I wasn't aware of the reason then but now I think I get it now. She knew something that I didn't.

"Jea is far away from here," I didn't want to tell them specifically her location because if I do she will skin me alive with her magic spells.

"How far?" Eric ask

"Look I don't know exactly cause the last time I met Jea she was down the South near the Blood moon pack, other than that I don't know where she went."

Everyone fell in silence

"I don't believe her" Claire throws me a glare.

"Agree"

Serena took her side which is not surprising at all. Yet how amazing it is to have your mate's chosen mate and ex-best friend to gang up on you. All the other luna just sat by and watches while these two are like banshees.

"We have to get it out of her" Claire demanded and Josh growls at her.

"You don't get to decide the fate of my pack members. Especially my top warrior female" Josh blatantly eye Claire

"Eric control your luna" both Eric and the Moonbridge alpha stood up as if to defend her.

How cliche! I saw a satisfying look on her face. How eager she was and proud to have both males on her side. She was filled with pride at the moment. Like she owns the world of werewolves.

She cast me a look "now you see here Ms. Unwanted" that makes Eliz growl in anger

"I know you met her recently," rolling my eyes at her I retort in the most boring way

"no, I did not."
