Chapter 13: Chapter 13

Everything was in a blur, one second Jay tackles down the hunter who came inside the room, and the next thing I know that there was screaming within the house. There were cursing, then gunshots and howl.

'Wait only wolves can howl' Eliz whimpers.

Footsteps were heard moving to the other sides. Metals and furniture are in the hallway were being thrown everywhere. Yet I just stood there trying to comprehensive on what's going on.

Jay after killing the hunter who is lifeless on the ground grab my hand and make our way to wherever he's taking me. I don't fully trust him but he was my only hope to escape for now. We kept running down the hallway the house was indeed huge.

He says he's a human but seriously he's speed is as of someone who is a werewolf.

When we got to the living room bodies were lying everywhere that's when I saw a big black wolf he was a bath with blood.

Snarling at Jay, he reminds me of something. That cold glare that astute posture. 'I swear I've seen him somewhere,' Eliz nods in agreement.

Once our eyes met he quickly averts his gaze to the other side and jumps out of the window along with another brown wolf.

Jay chuckles behind me "shall we go princess" he opens up the door.

"Consider this as the day our Alpha just declare war to the whole hunter's clan.... all for a girl."

I look dumbfounded at him "what's that supposed to mean?"

"come we have to go before others find us again," he continues to walk but I just stood there. Looking back that I haven't followed him he stops too.

"What?"

"How would I know you won't sell me to other hunters? Are you a spy?" I narrow my eyes at him. "I just save your ass girl," that he dragged me out of the hunter's place.

We walk side by side without talking to one another. We decided to take a walk after running, it was his idea, not mine. He wanted to prove that humans can walk miles and I must say he's impressive.

There are so many things I wanted to ask but decided not to dwell on it. All Eliz and I did were thank the moon goddess for letting these strangers help us. We almost reach my pack's territory. I decided to go back to my pack since Eric's pack deliberately left me there to die. So yeah I get the memo now.

I thank Jay again for saving me "so damsel in"

"It's Elle" I gave him a smile

"nice name"

"so should I know about your pack" he gave me a grin "that my dear is confidential" and he runs into the woods after bidding me goodbye.

I sigh under my breath "please moon goddess bless him," and I continue to walk to the gate.

Once when I made it I saw Aberdeen training the youngsters once she saw me she came running in my direction. Her eyes are buffy red as if she's been crying crushing me into a tight hug while crying.

"Oh my God I thought Eric says you die they couldn't" she sobs "save me right" I finished it.

We walk into the packhouse and that's when I sent him again Eric. He walks out of our Alpha's office his eyes widen in surprise. I want to kill him does he want me to be gone, does he despise me that much. Before walking up to my room I turn and slap him on the face real hard.

Leto and Josh came out after, they were surprised to see me there, so they did what Aber did to me. I excuse myself to my room ignoring the presence of Eric.

Taking a shower is the best thing to do. It was something that I needed after all the dramas.

Aberdeen came in she looked at me with worries and pity, that's when I broke down.

So I told her everything.
