Chapter 89: Chapter 89

SEMI FINAL

TWO DAYS LATER

ANDREW POV

As it is today, Mike and Katie are getting married and the wedding is happening in a grand style with family, friends and loved ones.

The groom is really eager to tie the knot with his bride and have their first intimacy together.

He's been acting crazy about it since last night, which I can't wait to get my revenge for teasing me on my wedding renewal day with Tia.

I'll make sure he gets a taste of his medicine in such a way he will thank me later.

"Get ready for some action, Mikey." I thought with a grin on my face as I headed to his bedroom to check up on him.

He's the reason why I couldn't spend the night with my wife yesterday due to how he keeps bringing up reasons I've to dress him up for his wedding just like he helped me with mine.

I knew it was his plan to get me to come down to my parents’ mansion just because he wasn’t allowed to meet his bride-to-be for three days.

“Can I have a word with you, son?” I heard my dad say behind me as I was heading to Mike’s bedroom.

“Sure dad. What’s the matter?”

“The ring hasn’t arrived yet. I don't know what might be the problem. I tried reaching the person who's to deliver it down here but couldn’t get in touch with him.”

“Don’t worry dad. I’ll handle the situation right away.” I assured him and took out my phone to call the manager of the jewelry mall.

“Good morning sir.” His voice bloomed the moment he answered the call.

“Good morning. This is Andrew Walton speaking.”

“I’m sorry for failing to recognize your voice on time sir. Please forgive my manners.”

“That’s okay. About the ring I ordered, when will it be delivered?”

“You will receive it soon in no time, sir. Our agent is on the way to deliver it to your home.”

“Alright.”

“Thank you for your understanding sir.”

“You’re welcome.” I replied and ended the call before facing my dad.

“It will be delivered in no time dad. You don’t have to worry about anything.”

“Thank you son. I knew I could always count on you.”

“It’s really nothing to thank me for, dad.” I assured him with a smile.

“I’m indeed proud of you, my boy.” He smiled and gave me a light pat on the shoulder before walking away.

It’s time to show Mikey how to play the game so well. I’ll make sure he’s at the peak of losing his mind before revealing the truth to him.

With a mischievous grin at the corner of my lips, I found my way to his bedroom and knocked on his door which he urged me in.

I stepped in and saw him in a happy mood fixing his tie all by himself.

“Hey bro. What’s up?” He asked with a grin on his face.

“Well, I’m good but I don’t think you’re going to have that grin on your face once I tell you the news.”

“What news are you talking about?”

“The news is hard to say buddy. I know it’s going to hurt but try to be strong, okay?”

“What the shit is going on, Andrew?”

“Your wedding has been canceled.”

“What?”

“Yeah buddy. Katie herself asked that the wedding be called off after finding a dark secret about you.”

“What are you saying man? What dark secret do I’ve to have made Katie cancel our wedding? I don’t really believe what you just said. I'll have to see her for myself.” He scoffed in disbelief.

“That won’t be necessary because she has already left and said you shouldn’t come after her.”

“Oh no!” He uttered sadly, almost losing his balance but I caught him right on time.

I guess I really went far and will have to stop the joke there.

I let go of him and moved towards the door before turning around to see him holding on to the nightstand.

“None of that happened man. I only said that to get my revenge like the last time you did to me.” I announced which made him look up at me with shock.

“How did you see my revenge? Was the joke really expensive?” I added with a grin and walked out of the room.

“You will pay for this Andrew!” I heard his scream as I made my way downstairs.

I don’t know I could be a badass after all. He wasn’t expecting the joke likewise the way I didn’t expect him to tease me on my wedding day.

Since Mike and I are even now I guess it’s time to go see my wife after staying away from her for a whole day.

I’m sure she must have missed me so much just like I badly miss her and want to have her around me.

MRS WALTON POV

"Thank you so much for coming. Please, make yourselves comfortable.” I said to one of my special guests, gesturing her inside.

“You look stressed out, my queen. Why don’t you take a little rest while I attend to the guests along with Frank?”

“That will be so kind of you, honey. I’ll go help the bride out before the event begins.”

“Please do that. My nephew is already getting impatient.”

“He got that from the family lineage just like our son.”

“That’s right. We aren’t just called the Walton’s for nothing, darling.”

“I’m done arguing with you. I’m off to get the bride ready.”

“Make sure to get yourself ready for me as well. I want to fall in love with you over again.”

“You’re so full of drama.” I giggled and strolled away before he could respond.

After passing by other guests I finally got to the room where Katie was getting ready and opened the door to see a beautiful sight of her in her off-shower wedding gown looking extremely beautiful like a princess.

“How do I look aunt?” She asked with a curly smile which could melt the heart.

“You look gorgeous like a princess.”

“Thanks aunt. It’s all thanks to Tia here who helped out in making sure I look good.” She responded, which made me turn towards Tia who was busy enjoying a handful of pizza.

“I can see you are really enjoying yourself, Mrs Walton.”

“I’m sorry mom. I can’t stop this carving for food.”

“I know, child. Make sure you feed my grandchild to his satisfaction.”

“I also know she’s going to have a boy with the way she carves for everything and acts lazy over little stuff.” Katie said with a soft chuckle.

“Is that how you will thank me for making sure you look really great today?” She asked amidst eating.

“She’s only pulling your legs, darling. Finish up your pizza before the wedding starts.” I uttered, giggling at how she pouted her mouth.

“Thanks mom. You’re one in millions.” She beamed and took another mouthful of pizza into her mouth.

“Me too.” Katie

I can’t wait to hold my grandchild in my hands. I’ll make sure he never experiences sadness as long as I live.

I’ll cherish him with my precious life and give him the best moral training I used in raising Andrew and Mike.

TIA POV

I adjusted Katie’s dress one last time and gave her a warm smile before joining Naomi and Susan in the front along with four little girls who are the flower girls.

“Naomi, are you ready to make the grand opening?”

“Yes but I’m a little nervous.”

“There’s nothing to be scared about. Just take a deep breath and relax your mind that everything will be great.”

“I think I’m ready now.” She said with full of energy.

“That’s more like it.” I said with a smile.

The door was opened shortly after Katie’s dad showed up before we made our way inside as the little flower girls began to spray rose petals on the way.

I put on my best smile as we walked past the outnumbered guests until my eyes finally landed on my husband, my soul mate.

He was standing right next to the groom giving me one of his radiant smiles before giving me a quick wink which I fell for and wished I could rush towards him and give him a warm embrace.

I can’t wait for Katie and Mike’s wedding to be over so I can spend some quality time with my husband.
