MRS WALTON POV

I got dressed in a black long dress while my husband was dressed in a blue tux suit like we were the ones going for the date.

Richard insists on going along with me to watch how things will turn out between Mike and Katie.

I just can’t miss how things will turn out between them since I didn’t get to see how Andrew and Tia profess their love to one another. It was like a shock to all of us, especially Mike and I.

We had been working on bringing them together which was becoming a success but we were just shocked they could confess their feelings on a short notice.

I know sooner than later, my grandchildren will be on the way.

“Are you all set, my queen?” My husband asked while I was applying lipstick on my lips.

“Yes, I’m done honey. I can’t wait to see how the blind date will turn out between the kids.” I answered, excitedly checking myself out before picking up my bag.

“I’m sure it will go according to plan.”

“I do hope so too. We have got to be there before they do or we will get caught by them.”

“You’re right, sweetheart. We can’t let that happen when things haven’t turned out the way we want it between those lovebirds.”

“I knew it all along Mike had an eye on Katie, likewise her too. It was exactly the way Tia and Andrew were in love with each other but none was ready to admit it until that terrible incident happened.”

“Let's forget about that and focus on seeing Mike and Katie’s love story become a success.” He stated.

“Alright, honey. It’s almost seven, we have got to hurry.”

“Calm down, woman. It’s not our date so relax a bit, okay?”

“Okay, my moon. By the way, you look handsome.”

“It’s been a while since I heard such compliments from you, my queen. You’re beautifully breathtaking. I hope you won’t catch the attention of other men in the restaurant.”

“What’s wrong my darling? Are you jealous already?” I inquired, trying to see his reaction.

“Why won’t I be jealous? I really can’t stand the sight of any man staring at my woman.” He said with jealousy and pulled me to his body.

“What will you do then, honey? After all, women still admire you till this moment and I don’t say a word about it so tell me, why can't men do the same to me?”

“That’s because you’re only mine and no one has the right to even take a glimpse at you.” He said firmly and pecked my cheek.

“Shall we go, my queen?” He added and held my hand as we both stepped out of our room.

It wasn't even twenty minutes after we arrived that we saw Mike coming inside the restaurant as my husband and I used the restaurant’s menu to prevent Mike from noticing us.

After some couple of minutes, we heard Mike’s voice close to us as the waiter urged him to take a seat at the reserved table I arranged for the date.

I just hope Katie arrives soon as well. They will be really surprised to see each other when she arrives.

“Are you sure Katie is going to show up?” Richard whispered to me.

“Yes, I am sure. I’m sure she’s on her way, maybe she got stuck with something.”

“I know Mike was going to turn up after talking him into agreeing to it.”

“Let’s wait for some time before she turns up.” I suggested as I waved at the waiter who attended to Mike who understands the signal.

The waiter headed towards the table with a bottle of wine and served Mike who didn’t say a word but kept staring at his phone.

After some minutes Katie turned up in a short red dress which made her look so beautiful.

I kept watching her closely as one of the waiters showed her to the table.

“Mike!” She called out in shock when the waiter showed her to the reserved table for the blind date.

“Katie, what are you doing?” Mike asked in shock as well.

“Don’t tell me you're the one I’m meeting up with for the blind date?”

“I guess so but how is this possible?”

“Aunt was the one who informed me about the date. She personally came over to my home and told me she fixed a date for me with someone unaware it was you.”

“This is really surprising. Uncle was the one who told me about the date and I couldn’t reject his offer since he’s my uncle. I’m sure it was my aunt’s idea to get us together.”

I smiled at my husband when Mike said those words. He didn’t see that one coming and must be surprised I could come up with such a move.

I do hope he will man up and confess his feelings for the woman of his choice.

He got on his feet and pulled out a chair for Katie as she took a seat with a smile.

“I’m actually glad my aunt made such a move today. There’s something I have been dying to say to you, Katie and I’m glad I can say it with confidence to you today.”

“What is it, Mike?”

“I love you Katie. I really love you very much. Ever since I first saw you, I fell for you and knew you were the perfect woman I have been dying to find. You’re so sweet, kind and most of all, a little bit of psycho which is everything I have dreamed of the woman I want in my life.”

“If you can give me a chance, Katie, I promise I will be the best man for you for a lifetime. Please marry me, Katie.” He added as Katie’s face held a lot of emotion which I can’t portray.

“I really don’t know what to say right now, Mike.” She replied as her eyes were filled with tears.

“Please, say anything Katie or my heart won’t be at peace.” He confessed, holding her hands.

I have never seen Mike act this way before. It really shows how deeply he loves her. Come on Katie, please accept my nephew's proposal. I know you love him as much as he loves you.

“I’m very much in love with you as well, Mike and yes, I will marry you.” She revealed as the tears streamed down her cheeks.

“Thank you so much for accepting my proposal.” He uttered, holding on to her hands with affection.

“You do it, my queen. You finally bring these kids together at last. I can’t be any prouder than this.”

“No, honey, we did it. We showed them the light together.”

“I’m proud of you, my heartbeat.”

“I feel I could tear up any minute if I keep staring at them.”

“Let’s go home since our job here is done.”

“Yes, please.” I added, trying to hold up my tears.

At last, I finally succeeded in making Mike unite with his one and only. I pray nothing comes in between their love story and that of Tia and Andrew.

TIA POV

I spent two hours straight in the bathroom trying out the dresses Andrew’s mom brought for me for our wedding night.

I can’t tell which of the lingerie to put on. I’m sure Andrew must be tired of waiting.

After contemplating on what to wear, I settled for a peach night dress which was also revealing and put them on before making my way out of the bathroom to find Andrew on the bed.

“Did I keep you waiting for long, darling?” I inquired, walking up to him in slow motion.

“What kind of goddess is standing right in front of me? There’s no doubt it’s a seductress.”

“Why are you so sweet, darling?” I blushed shyly as he walked up to me without waiting for me to come to him.

“You’re devour-able, my love. Will you give me the chance to devour you tonight, my beautiful bride?”

“I’m all yours, hubby. You own everything in me, even my breath, you own everything about me.”

“I feel I’m the luckiest man on earth to be honored with such a beautiful and intelligent woman as a wife, mother of my unborn kids and my till eternity partner. I promise to love you till death do us part.”

“And I feel lucky to be blessed with such a man who is like a friend, brother and father to me.”

“I love you so deeply Mrs Tia Walton and I will always love you forevermore.” He confessed and embraced me.

“I love you so much, Mr Andrew Walton and till death do us part.”

“Always remember, I will love you for the rest of our lives.” He added and slowly captured my lips before picking me up to the bed.

Tonight will be the best night of all and the night that will be marked as a new beginning in our lives.
