Ahana Pov

I broke the hug and saw Sid's arm and then my hand which was full of blood because of his injury. He lovingly wipes my tears with the other hand..

"how much is bleeding after today you will never do this... you understand?" I said. He didn't reply and passed me a smile..

"Why are we stopped here.. It's raining heavily and you're shivering too.. I don't want you to fall ill.. Let's go to the hurt" He muttered. I was looking at him in shock.

"What happened?" he asked, looking at my reaction.

"You got shot, Sid and you're worried that I'm shivering? Are you gone mad?" I frowned. He gazed at me and then started laughing. I rolled my eyes.

"It's raining Ahana" he mumbled.

"I can see that" I frowned. I grabbed his hand and started walking forward. After a while we reached the place where we wanted to go. I closed the gate as soon as we both came inside the hut and took his bag and kept it on the side and then I started removing his shirt but he grabbed my hand..

"Your intentions don't seem right," he said in a flirty tone. I hit him hard on his hand. He let go of my hand. I quickly removed his shirt. I had tears in my eyes looking at his arms injury.

"The bullet will have to be taken out or else there will be an infection" he mumbled. I just nodded my head in yes and then took out the wood from the bag and put them all together in the centre and then took out the lighter and kerosene from the bag and set fire to that wood. I quickly took out the knife and first aid from his bag, then and then began to heat the knife. I glanced at Sid who was constantly looking at me. He took out a small bottle from his bag.

"Are you serious? You have to drink in such a situation too?" I scowled.

"I didn't know you noticed me this much" he uttered. I heated the knife and came to him. My hands were shaking. I didn't have the courage to extract a bullet from his arms.. He took the knife from my hand..

"I did it. I'm try---trying at least give me some time" I stammered..

"don't worry I will manage. I know it's not easy to get a bullet out of the body of the one you love. I only know how I operated on you after seeing you in that condition. I can't forget that day in my whole life" He muttered. Before I could say anything. he took out the bullet with the help of a knife..

"Arghhhh" he shouted. He hugged me tightly. I quickly hugged him back and lovingly started my hand on his back to calm him. After a while he broke the hug.

"first aid" he muttered. I nodded in yes and began to bandage his injury. tears were continuously falling down from my eyes.

"What was the need of you to come before me. I can't see you like this. After today you will never do that." I scowled.

"I will.. Whenever someone tries to hurt you, either I will kill that person or I will come in front of you and take that peril on myself." he said. He was about to wipe my tears but I angrily shoved his hand .. after bandaging I washed my hands in rain water and then sat beside him. I was continuously shivering and he was drinking.

"I have to be careful with you," he said. I looked at him angrily.

"Yes.. you keep noticing me all the time, I have to be careful"

"I don't notice you," I muttered.

"Ohh really? Then how do you know that I had picked up the woods on the way?" he said. I was about to argue but he cut me off and continued "How do you know I have a knife, kerosene, and lighter in my bag? How do you know this bottle contains wine and I am used to drinking?" he asked. I opened my mouth to say something but then closed it after not finding anything to say. He was right. I stared at him a lot. He just laughed at my reaction.

"Is it necessary to drink all the time?" I snatched the bottle from his hand and put it back in the bag.

"Ever since Anokhi was gone, I got addicted to alcohol" he whispered. I was grazing at him but didn't reply to his words. tears welled up in his eyes but he controlled them.

"Sorry," he whispered.

"Aren't you afraid of bullets? You came in front of me without thinking anything and put your life in danger" I asked to try to change the topic.

"You change the topic very well... don't worry I'm fine... arghh ..Such injuries are normal in the army" he mumbled.

"it's hurting but you won't show" i mocked.

He didn't reply and just moved a little and sat behind me.

"It's very cold.. why didn't you change your clothes? You got completely drenched in the rain and now shivering with the cold. You are such a careless person" he whispered and took me into a tight embrace..

"you are there to care for me then why should i worry..." I said. He didn't say anything, just rolled his eyes and then kissed my forehead..

I love you Sid '' I whispered, hiding my face in his chest... I'm sure he is smiling after listening to my confession. After a while I broke the hug and looked at me where he was constantly staring at me.

"What are your intentions, ma'am?" he asked fittingly.

"leave mine.. Your intentions are not looking right." I muttered , biting my lower lip. before he could utter something I attached my lips with his. At first he was looking at me shockingly but soon he started giving me a response. We both were kissing each other passionately. He was moving his hand all over my body while I was losing all my senses... we spent some quality time with each other and then slept in each other's arms peacefully. we didn't even bother to change our wet clothes. We just want to spend time with each other.

Sid Pov

I couldn't sleep all night.. Whatever happened last night is revolving in my mind. What would have happened if Ahana had got hit by that bullet.. I don't even want to imagine. I can not see her in pain at all. It was morning, my eyes went to Ahana who was sleeping with her head on my chest and just like a child clutching my shirt with her hand. I had a smile on my face after seeing her sleeping. I started moving my hand on her hair with love, then my eyes went to the mark on her head... Her injury was healed but the mark was still there. I clenched my fist angrily remembering that bastard Rocky hurt my Ahana. I kissed her mark with love. I was only staring at her when she opened her eyes..

"Good morning.. When did you wake up?" she asked, roughing her eyes with her hand. Seeing her, a smile came on my face even though I forgot I was angry a bit ago.

"Good morning lifeline," I whispered. There was a big smile on Ahana's face.

"I want to tell you something" I raised my eyebrow to signal her to continue.

"When I was angry with you and you used to call me lifeline.. To be honest, my heartbeat used to increase and my anger disappeared within two seconds but then I remembered the deception given by you." she mumbled. A lone tear escaped from her eyes. I lovingly wiped her tears.

"Now you're not hiding anything from me, are you?" she asked.

"No... I have told you everything.. what was the truth and what was a lie. I know It will be difficult for you to believe me but really I love you Ahana.. I love you a lot.. A lot and I mean it.."

She didn't say anything further and attached her lips to mine. After a short kiss she parted.

"I'm not hiding anything from you lifeline but you're hiding a lot of things from me Ahana" I grumbled. The smile on her face suddenly disappeared.. She lowered her eyes..

"Tell me, what are you hiding from me? How do you know their leader? The way you hold a gun, shoot and fight, all those are of high skills and this fight technique is not taught in any normal self-defence.. Say Ahana.. Who are you?" I asked.
