I was looking for Ahana everywhere but the chances of meeting her were running out with time. Searching for her, I came to the same waterfall where I had spent time with her. I remember: this is where our story really started. When I saw Ahana for the first time, I used to feel something for her but here I realized she has become very special to me. I didn't even know when my attraction changed into my addiction and now she is my lifeline...

I had tears in my eyes. I was thinking about her only then my eyes went to the stones lying on the side of the waterfall.. Something had fallen on it.. I quickly went there and looked down there was an earring lying there. I remember very well yesterday she was wearing the same earrings..

I started looking around me then my eyes went to a cave on the side which was not being visible due to the vines of the trees. I quickly removed those vines. My eyes widened looking at the scene in front of my eyes. Both Rocky and Ahana were lying unconscious on the ground that too in a very bad condition. I immediately went to both and checked Rocky's nerves and breathing. Both were stopped. I looked at Ahana. I couldn't understand anything. I had tears in my eyes seeing her condition. Blood was pouring out of his head and also with the injury caused by the bullet. There was a deep cut near her lips, maybe because Rocky slapped her. I didn't have the courage to check her nerves.

I could clearly hear my heartbeat which was going very fast. I went to the Ahana and cupped her face.

"Ahana" My tears were falling on her face but still there was no moment in her body.. I checked her nerves and then his breathing but I didn't feel anything.

"No.. No.. Nothing can happen to her. Nothing... Ahana." I said, holding her face. I was repeatedly tapping on her cheeks "Ahana.. Ahana.. Please wake up.. I'm sorry for getting late.. I'm really sorry because of me you had to bear all this but please don't leave me like this.. please" i said looking at her that's when I saw her eyelids moving.. I checked her nerves again but I still could not feel her pulse. I immediately cupped her face and started giving her mouth to mouth breathing. After a while I checked her pulse which was going slowly but at least I felt it. I kept giving him mouth breathing for a while and again i checked her pulse which is running at a better rate than before. I got away from him and looked at her head and chest injury which was still bleeding. I looked around me and saw rocky. I quickly unbuttoned the shirt he was wearing and slash it into two pieces and tied a piece on her head so that no more blood would flow and then covered her chest with another. I couldn't understand anything what I should do when I heard the sound of someone's footsteps. I turned and saw that Sahil was standing. He pointed his gun at me.

"hands up... It will be better for you Sid that you leave this girl alone in this condition or else you will lose your life." he said..

"Sahil.. please help me.. you know Ahana is not involved in all this.. she has been implicated in all this.. please help me" I folded my hands " I never bowed down in front of anyone except God and my grandmother, today I bow down before you.. Please do something, my Ahana will also go away for me like my wife. please do something" I said crying helplessly.

"I am sorry.. I am doing my duty Sid, I have been ordered to kill this girl. get away from her" he said.

"I don't care about your orders.. Even if you thought of harm to Ahana, I would kill you.. How did you even think I would leave her in such a condition?"

"The general ordered us to take your life if you tried to save this girl. Think one more time Sid, did you still want to save her life." he mumbled. I looked at Ahana who was unconscious and wiped my tears quickly.

"I won't leave her alone. If you want to kill her then kill me first"

"Fine.. get ready to die" he said and pulled out the trigger.. I closed my eyes and was waiting for him to shoot but he didn't. I opened my eyes and looked in front, he was not there. I looked back at Ahana and sat beside her...

"Ahana" I didn't know what to do... I quickly went out and brought water from the waterfall and poured it on Ahana's face but still she didn't react.

"Sid" someone called my name. I looked outside. Sahil was standing there with a bag.

"You went out to find Ahana, but I have never seen a bigger fool than you." I look at him confusingly "You knew that Rocky wouldn't love your Lioness. at least you should have left with her medicines and first aid kit"

Sahil threw that bag towards me, I quickly caught that bag and opened it. It had a first aid kit, some medicines and some clothes. I looked at Sahil..

"Why are you wasting time? She already lost lots of blood. Treat her quickly" I just nodded in yes and then I quickly untied the shirt tied on Ahana's head and took out the cotton from the first aid and started cleaning her injury when Sahil came to me..

"I will do this till then you treat her chest injury. She is losing lots of blood" he said. I didn't reply to him and removed the cloth from her chest injury, and started treating her wound. Sahil knew very well how to apply stitches, he was carefully applying stitches on Ahana's head. I was applying stitches on Ahana's chest wound while following Sahil carefully.

Together we treated her. Sahil took out an injection from the first aid kit and injected it in her hand.

"This injection has been given so that there is no infection in her body.. she will come to her senses till tomorrow morning" he said. I just nodded yes. We both went out to wash our hands. After washing my hands, I hugged Sahil tightly. I had tears in my eyes.

"thank you so much" I mumbled.

"You don't need to say thank you. I did all this so that I can know who Rocky's boss is and it can be known only through Ahana that's why I saved her life or else I would have let her die and probably would have killed you too." he said. I just passed him a weak smile.

"I come after performing the last rites of Rocky's body, till then you take care of Ahana and yes please don't take any wrong decision by being emotional. I know you love her but don't forget your mission. We need information from her and you will bring out that information from her. Got it" he said. I just nodded ok..

Sahil raised Rocky's body on his shoulder and went outside to perform his body rituals. I looked at Ahana who was unconscious. I sat beside her and lovingly removed the hair coming on her face. Tears welled up in my eyes seeing her condition.

"Please get well soon Ahana. I can't see you like this. I don't like when you sit quietly. I like to hear your talk non stop. You have no idea how scared I was when I saw you in such a condition" I wiped my tears and kissed her forehead lovingly "my soul trembles when I see you in this condition. please wake up, I have to confess a lot of things to you." I mumbled looking at her. I was lovingly stroking his hair.

"Rocky must have tortured her a lot for what he wanted but what does Ahana have that is of Rocky's use and how did that thing come to her? Whatever it is, but now I will not allow anyone to hurt my Ahana.. even if I have to take the life of the person in front." was lost in my thoughts. That's when my eyes went on sahil who was watching me.

"If I try to hurt Ahana, will you kill me too?" he asked.

"Is this even a matter of asking?" I said with a smirk on my face.

"I Knew You Could Never Hurt Me"

"It's your misunderstanding," I grumbled . He looked at me confusingly. "Even if you thought of hurting my Lioness, I would not think for a moment before killing you." I said. He looked at me shockingly. I laughed seeing his expression.

After a while he starts laughing too. He came and sat beside me. He took out a packet of biscuits from the bag and started eating. I snatched the packet from his hand. He looked at me and laughed.

"You deliberately asked that I will kill you or not so that a smile can come on my face" I asked looking at him.

"This question is not important.. The important one is will you really kill me?" he asked

"yes.. I love her very much. And for her I can do anything and I mean it" I said and looked at Ahana.

"I don't know how but now she has become as important for me as it is necessary to take oxygen.. she is my life line." I thought and smiled staring at the most beautiful face in the whole world
