Ahana Pov

I was sitting in my room thinking about what just happened a while ago. That's when Rahul, Baba's younger son came to me. He informed me about the Rocky and Sid fight. I got up quickly and came out of my room with him. My eye went to Sid, whom Rocky was constantly beating. while he was also silently beaten up. I called Sid's name out loudly. Rocky suddenly stopped. They both look at my side. I had tears in her eyes.

"Sid" I again called his name and ran towards him. Don't know why but he had a smile on his face after seeing me despite being in so much pain. He was about to fall on the ground but I came near and held him.

"I Am Sorry" he said while looking at me. I could not understand how all this happened. Rocky came to me and took Sid away from me. He was about to beat him again but I pushed him away from Sid.

"Don't you dare again to raise your hand on him. I will break your hand and give it to you on the other hand. motherfucker" I spat on his face angrily. He was going to slap me but I held his hand.

"You bitch" he said while cursing me. I had absolutely no interest in listening to his nonsense. I kicked him in the stomach and then punched him in the face.

"I can tolerate anything but if someone even tries to harm my Sid, I will break him into 1000 pieces," I said while continuously punching him on his face. He was also trying to fight back but I didn't give him a chance. I was about to whack him more but then my eyes went on Sid who was smiling and was watching me. I suddenly stopped.

I sat near him. His cheek was swollen and was bleeding from his mouth. I cleaned the blood from his face with my tippet. I was so busy watching Sid's injury, I didn't even realize when Rocky came after me.

"bitch," Rocky said, I looked back. He was about to punch my face for which I was not prepared at all. He was about to hit me but Sid held his hand. He jerks his hand so hard that even the sound of him breaking his bone was clearly audible. I was shockingly looking at Sid. while he was looking at Rocky angrily.

I kept my hand on his chest to calm him down. He immediately left Rocky's hand and looked at me.

"Moron, What is all this and why were you bearing so much when you could fight back? ”I said, placing his hand on my shoulder.

I brought her to my room with my support. He didn't reply to me and was just looking at me. I quickly brought the first aid box and started applying medicine on his injury.

Sid Pov

It is really difficult to understand a woman. A little while ago, the girl who was so angry with me that she did not want to see my face, and now that same girl was applying medicine on my injury. Ahana had tears in her eyes, she was blowing and applying medicine.

"Are you mad? I am hurt and you are crying ``I said while wiping her tears.

"Shut your mouth loggerhead. I feel like killing you. What is all this? this fight. why? Where did you hit your head and moreover Why didn't you fight back? ``She asked a ton of questions together angrily while applying medicine on my cheeks.

"Is it painful?" she asked while crying.

"Are you pregnant?" I asked , looking at her.

"what?"

"yaa, this mood swings pregnancy hormone is only. Sometimes angry, sometimes cared," I said while laughing. Her expression was worth watching. I loved to annoy her. She punched me hard on my face.

"Aah.. what the hell. it's already Painful"

"You deserve this" she yells out loudly. She was about to leave the room but I held her hand.

"I am sorry"

Ahana looked at me. I kissed her hand with love.

"You are right, I deserve this punishment. I raised my hands on you, which was very wrong. I am sorry and I promise you I will never ever hurt a woman in my whole life and that's an army promise" I said looking at her.

"Army promise?".

Shit! How can I be so irresponsible? How can I mention anything related to my profession in front of her?

"I mean, It is said that the army promise never breaks, so that's why the army promised". I said. I hope she believes in my words. well her expressions were telling that she got convinced.

"You are crazy. What do you think, by punishing yourself, you have dispelled my resentment?" she asked looking at me

"I am sorry" I said while holding her hand again.

She sat back near me. I looked at her while her eyes were down.

"You just beat that Rocky, so why didn't you hit him first when he raised his hands on you?" I asked. She abruptly looked at me.

"I have some helplessness. Because of which I had to listen to his every thing, but my every compulsion is not more important than you"

"What helplessness?"

"I came here from my social project and that project was signed by Rocky. he is the only one who approved that and he has threatened me that he will make me leave the village if I don't do the work given by him" she said while closing the first aid box.

Before i could say anything she said

"Wait, I have to wash my hands" and went away.

"Is Ahana really Innocent? She just said she works on Rocky's instructions. Maybe she doesn't even know what she is doing?" I thought and looked at Ahana, who was washing her hands.

"Aah," she hissed and looked at her wrist. Rocky's fingerprints were still visible on her wrist. She came to me and sat near me. I took her hand in my hand and opened the first aid box with the other hand and started applying medicine on her wrist. Perhaps she was feeling a light burning sensation because of the medicine. she started taking her hand back, but I held her hand a little tightly and started to blow to give her some relief.

She was looking at me. I looked at her, she had tears in her eyes

"Now what happened? Why are you crying?" i asked

"I love you.. Please don't betray me, Sid." she said. My eyes were moist after listening to her, but I did not know what to answer her. I am on a mission right now and All I know is..

"When it comes to the country, we are neither there nor anyone else, Then there is only one son and one mother and the son is ready to sacrifice his life for the honour of that mother."
