Sid Pov

I woke up early in the morning. I got up and came out of my tent. I looked towards Ahana's tent where no one was there. I saw her there. When we lit a fire yesterday, she had slept sitting there. Maybe she slept a while ago only. I had a smile on my face. I went to my tent and brought the blanket and sat near her. I blew her the blanket. She looks so beautiful while sleeping and even in a simple messy look. I was lost in her beauty. I know I should remove my eyes from seeing any other girl like this except my wife and daughter. But even after wishing I could not remove my eyes. There was a slight smile on her face. Her smile was such that it would bring a smile on anyone's face. Her eyes were such that like any one wants to get lost in them. Her lips are so beautiful like a rose petal making me urge to suck them passionately. she took a slight turn. My eyes went to a mole on her cleavage that made my junior go crazy for her. I never felt this way for any girl except Anokhi, so why am I attracted to Ahana? Suddenly she wakes up. her eyes went on me and then she shouted. She was so loud that can make any one ear bleed. I kept my hand on her mouth while she was looking at me angrily.

"have you gone mad? Why are you shouting like this?" I asked, looking at her angrily. she indicates towards my hand with her eyes. I quickly removed my hand from her lips.

"If someone wakes up from sleep and opens his eyes and if there is such a big monster in front of him, then any one could get scared" she said.

"You are calling me a monster," I asked , looking at her angrily. She started laughing after seeing my expression. I ignored her. I was about to get up from there but she held my hand. I looked at her.

"Sit near me for a while," she said. I did not say anything further and sat near her. We were both looking at that waterfall.

"You know, I love my wife the most, but I also hate her the most. she just thought of herself and about Arzoo. but what about me? for once she didn't think of me. i hate her" she repeated my words that i told her yesterday. I look at her confusingly. I had a smile on my face after listening to what I said to her. Because in anger I said that I hate Anokhi but hating her is impossible for me or saying it's easier to die rather than hating her.

I could not sleep at night. I was just thinking about Sid and his words. When he was telling me about Anokhi, I did not have a reply to his talk but now I have.

"You can't hate her, Sid. You can never hate the person you love so much. you love her madly. You remember this till today when you saw her for the first time, even what she was wearing at the time. You still love her a lot." I said. Sid was looking at me. there was a slight smile on his face.

"I cannot hate her, but I am angry with her that he only thought of herself and her child. she didn't even care about me " he said with his teary eyes.

"What she did for you Sid. I would have done the same if I were in her place. I would have preferred to die sooner rather than leave you alone in the world"

He didn't reply to anything . I do not know why but he took my hand in his hands and held it tightly.

"I loved Anokhi a lot. I can't forget her, even though she is not with me, but she is in my memory. Every moment she is in my thoughts." I repeated the same thing he said earlier. He had tears in his eyes. He closed his eyes.

"Anokhi is very lucky Sid, that she met a fellow like you, who loves her so much even when she is not with you. Frankly, I fell in love with you after seeing your love for her. I didn't tell you to get away from Anokhi or you forget her. I want to share my memories with you. I know it sounds filmy but it's true. I only want your love and respect" I said.

I was waiting for his reply but he didn't say anything. We remained silent like this for a long time. I was about to get up but Sid didn't leave my hand. I was just looking at him.

"Promise me that you will never leave me" he said while looking into my eyes. I couldn't understand what I should say.

"Promise me you won't leave me the way Anokhi left me alone. You will be with me forever. Promise me"

"I promise, I will always be with you." I promised him then he suddenly hugged me. I had a smile on my face. I also embraced him. We both sat for a while like that only. After some time, He stood up and started packing his baggage. I also packed my bag back. Both of us went ahead without saying anything.

I was tired, I was about to sit on the side but he held my hand.

"It will not be right to sit here, there may be danger of animals. we will sit a little ahead" he said. He started walking by holding my hand. I was also walking with him. I first saw him, then our hand. A big smile came on my face.

We both move ahead and then finally we sit. I got two apples out of my bag and moved one towards him. He took the apple from my hands. He was only looking at me.

"Why are you staring at me?" I asked , looking at him.

"I was just looking, how you girls look like a big witch without makeup" He said.

"You moron," I said angrily. I hit his shoulder hard. where he was laughing at my reaction. I forgot my anger after seeing his smile. A big smile came on my face too.

"I am joking . You look so cute and beautiful without even make up" he said.

"there is no need to butter me."

"Ahana" he called my name.

"yes"

"I want to move on with you" he said. I could not believe his words. I was shockingly looking at him.

"What did you just say?" I asked.

"I said I want to move on with you," he said. a big smile came on my face. I hugged him tightly. After a minute I got away from him.

"Are you indirectly proposing me?" I asked.

"No. When did I propose to you?" he said.

"You.. I hate you," I said. We both started laughing. I kissed Sid's hand with love. He was just looking at me. I don't know why but i felt like he was hiding something from me.

"You are hiding something from me?" I asked and soon his expression changed. Seeing his expression, I understood that my suspicion was correct.
