Priscilla didn’t fake her tears this time around. As she barged into her father’s office, she sat on the floor and wailed for real.

“Dad! What is the meaning of this!? Didn’t you promise me you’ll get rid of that girl?”

Mr. Wang was flabbergasted. He broke out of his shock and let go of the documents in his hands.

“What is it this time, Princess? Who looked for your trouble?” With an anxious look, he darted forward and squatted in front of her.

“You lied to me!” Priscilla screamed. “You said that girl would leave this company!”

Mr. Wang instantly understood who she was talking about. The man put on a guilty look and avoided his daughter’s eyes.

Up till now, he hadn’t found the best way to get rid of that girl. That night after taking his wife’s advice, he had summoned his son-in-law and gave him a piece of his mind. He even warned him to make sure that girl was out of the company. Did she not leave?

“Baby girl.” Mr. Wang sighed heavily. “Please stop crying. Dad is wrong, but I promise you I’ll-“

“You’ll do what!?” Priscilla interrupted him. “Dad, it seems you don’t take my words seriously. I swear I’ll hang myself if she snatches Jason from me! Do you know she spent a long time in his office today? Jason also gave her some assignments, what does that mean? He wants to take her back as his assistant, how does that even make sense?”

Priscilla had interrogated the guy both skillfully and directly, but he didn’t tell her a word he spoke with Annie.

Jason seemed to be hiding something from her. She couldn’t also get a word out of Annie who totally ignored her.

“You mean he did that himself?” Mr. Wang did not look pleased.

“That’s right!” Priscilla sobbed. “Dad, didn’t you say he listens to you? You told me you would only ask him to marry me and he would do that.”

After seeing the kind of influence her father had on the guy, Priscilla didn’t expect Jason to treat her that way.

Because of her Dad, he even got to be a shareholder and would in no time start managing two departments. So imagine her surprise when he treated that girl well in her presence.

“Please stop crying, Princess. You know how I hate to see you cry.” Mr. Wang was helpless. Seeing his daughter in a pitiful state, he also had the urge to cry.

“Alright. Alright. Please calm down. Dad will do something about it.”

“What are you going to do?” Priscilla didn’t believe him. “She is just a simple employee and you couldn’t even get rid of her. Dad! I’m tired of this! It’s better I jump down the rooftop.”

“No, please don’t.” Mr. Wang waved his hands. “Princess, you can’t do anything to hurt yourself. Even crying will only hurt you. You are not healthy enough, stop putting worries in your mind.”

Priscilla held her stomach. “But Jason doesn’t care that I’m not healthy enough. He couldn’t even defend me when that girl hurt my feelings. Very soon, Annie might be able to work in the CEO’s area. Once she becomes more important, won’t he run back to her?”

Mr. Wang’s heart ached more.

“Please trust me, Dear. Dad swears he’ll do something about it. As for that boy, just leave him to me.”

“I didn’t ask you to do anything to my husband!” Priscilla looked at him and said in a warning tone. “Don’t even think about it, Dad! I just want you to get rid of that girl.”

“It is fine, Princess. I didn’t mean to do anything. Hmmm, please don’t think too much. How can I bear to see you constantly worry when your health is not even good?”

Priscilla stood up and wiped her tears. “Isn’t it your fault? If you didn’t fail in getting rid of her, I wouldn’t be sad. Do something about her. Make sure she leaves this company for good!”

Mr. Wang collapsed on his chair after his daughter left. He patted his chest and picked up his phone.

He blamed himself for his daughter’s misery, and he also blamed that boy. How could he be ungrateful? How could he not strive to make his daughter happy despite what he had done for him?

“Old Wu, I have a few words to say.” When the call went through, Mr. Wang didn’t have the desire to greet his friend, because he was mad.

“Who got on your bad side, Old Wang? Is there someone you want me to deal with?”

“He listens to you, Old Wu. Call him and tell him the right words. Make sure he doesn’t make my baby girl angry anymore.”

How could he forget about that girl? He was reluctant to get her fired because the girl seemed mysterious. Even at the general conference that day, Mr. Wang could feel that the CEO was looking at that girl.

Well, he had to at least make his princess happy. Maybe that girl would quit by herself. “I have one more request, Old Wu. That girl doesn’t want to leave my daughter alone. And it seems she wants to apply to be the CEO’s secretary. Won’t she be above my princess then?”
