I was studying in my room after dinner... kavya SIL(sister in law) came to my room to give me coffee.. while studying they will give me coffee...not to get sleepy and headache...

kavya sil:-" here is your coffee... "

me:-" thank you SIL..."

kavya sil:-: so when is your exam?? "

me:-" next month..."

kavya sil:-" oh k.. then how is your love progress... "

I chocked my coffee.. it spilt on my bed and books... I looked at her like how she know all this... later I came out of shock and gave awkward smile...

me:-" he he.. me love.. what love SIL.. I don't know... " I tried to act innocent...

kavya sil:-" oh don't act in front of me... spilt it.. "

me:-" first tell me how you know.. "

kavya sil:-" on the first day after your coaching class.. sanju when he went back to home.. he told everything with them... "

'ufff... this fellow... can't he hide these things.. how can he tell... '

kavya sil:-" now stop thinking and crusing him.. first tell me now.. "

me:-" he only became my friend..."

kavya sil:-" don't worry he will love you.. but right now I think he want to concentrate on studies..."

kavya sil:-" he might be insecure of his feelings towards you and afraid that he won't reach his goal.. once he reached then he will come back to you.. "

me:-" let's see.. how ever next month exam will overright.. "

kavya sil:-" I have an idea.. you both can spend time together.."

me:-" he won't accept.. he is like stone heart.. I tired many times.. all went in vein.. "

kavya:-" now listen.. Priya is pregnant.. he is in happy mood.. so ask him to take you some where.. he will say yes... "

me:-" will he..?? "

kavya:-" try it.. bye.. your bro will be waiting for me.. "

me:-" soon I am going to get niece or nephew.."

kavya:-" shut up and read... " she smiled and closed my door and went.. yes.. more than SIL she is like friend to me.. as she is married to my bro.. I am calling her as SIL or else I would have called her by name only...

I called sanju.. he picked in one ring.. what kavya SIL said is true.. he is happy.. usually he won't pick my call till some five to six ring.. when I listened his voice I noticed he is in happy mood..

sanju:-" hello... "

me:-" what... boss is full happy today.. "

sanju:-" yes.. Priya is pregnant.. soon a small one will join our family..."

me:-" oh so you are in happy. let's celebrate the news.. "

sanju:-" OK.. tomorrow after class I will take you to hotel.. "

'oh.. boring guy... it's difficult to change him to romantic....' I thought to myself...

me:-" I don't need tomorrow.. I need it now.. let's go and have ice-cream come..."

sanju:-" now you want ice cream.. at this time.. are you mad?? "

me:-" I am not mad.. what future IPS officer is afraid to come out in night time..?? "

this is the only way to threaten him with name IPS officer...

sanju:-" no.. I will come.. be ready. I will be there with in 20 mins.... " he hung up the call... "see.. I said na... only with IPS name it works..." exactly after 20mins he called me and said he is outside the gate of my house... I slowly went out of my room and peeked any one is there.. and moved out of my home successfully without noticing anyone and this bodyguards...

I was so happy today after knowing Priya pregnant... a small one will join our family... next month exam is there.. I was studying seriously.. I got call from my irritation girl.. but today no mood to scold now.. so I picked it immediately.. she asked me ice-cream in order to celebrate happy news.. I agreed to it but I said tomorrow.. but she wanted now.. I was thinking how can I take her in night time.. for girls it's dangerous.. but she knows my weak point.. threaten me with the name of IPS... then I agreed to her.. and went out... thank god everyone are sleeping... I reached her home exactly after 20 mins... I called her to come out.. after 10mins she came out.. and sat on my bike..

me:-" are you sure in this outfit.. you wanna go out?? "

divya:-" yes what happen... won't it looking good...."

me:-" it's looking good.. but it's night dress.. "

divya:-" it's OK.. you are there right to protect me.. "

I sighed and started my bike.. driving from half an hour.. all ice cream shops are closed.. because time is already near to 12am..

me:-" I think all shops are closed.. I will drop you back.. "

divya:-" NO... (she shouted) see there is restaurant open.. go and bring ice cream.. "

me:-" it's a bar.. will you get ice cream there..??? "

divya:-" who knows go and ask.. "

me:-" I think we won't get there.. let's go.. " after driving for 5 more mins.. I found ice cream shop but it was closing..

me:-" be here.. the shop is closing.. I will request him and bring..."

I went and requested the shop owner to give ice cream.. he said its closing time and to come tomorrow.. then I got idea..

me:-" sir.. look at my wife.. she is pregnant.. she asked me ice cream at this time.. how can I deny her small request.. please give us ice cream.. "

shop owner:-" oh which ice cream flavor you need sir..?? "

'ahh..!! what the hell... how I know which she need.. '

me:-" sir give some five to six flavors "

then he packed and gave.. I paid.. and turned back. I got shock to see her like this...

Divya (p. o. v)

I was waiting for him... he went to bring ice cream... I was looking at him.. he showed me too shop owner and said something... I was smiling like idiot by seeing him.. soon some boys came and started flirting with me.. as I want to becomes IAS officer in future.. my dad made me strong and thought me self defense and sent me to karate class also... I know little bit boxing too.. I hitted all the people.. three were crawling on road and three people run away.. sanju came with shock.. and gave me ice cream...

me:-" why are you looking at me like that?? "

sanju:-" how you hit those people..??"

me:-" oh as a IAS officer.. I should know these things.. If I am afraid like you then I won't be fit for it.. If I can't protect myself how can I protect someone.. "

sanju held someone arm.. and his eyes were red in anger.. I looked back someone tired to hit me with broken wine bottle. he pulled me to back of his and started fighting with him. soon some goons came and started to fight with us.. we both were fighting.. I heard gun shot sound... I turned my face.. sanju arm was bleeding but still he was fighting.. later they all run away seeing sanju fight after gun shot also...

I took him to hospital.. I thought he will hiss in pain.. but he is sitting like stone while doctor were removing his bullet from his arm.... after removing all doctor went out and sanju was shifted to ward..

me:-" sorry for asking ice cream in mid night... "

sanju:-" it's k.. "

by seeing his face I can say he is hiding something and some pain is there in his eyes.. "shall we move.. I don't want to stay in hospital " sanju said.. I nodded my head. I called my bro and said what happened... I informed police to check CCTV footage and arrest those goons...

me and sanju came out..

me:-" I will book cab.. your arm is injured so don't ride bike now.. "

sanju:-" I am fine come.. " he said and started the bike.. I sat behind.. he was driving out of city.. after two hours journey we reached waterfalls place... me and sanju sat on the stone and watching waterfall..

sanju:-" you know I wanted to become army man.. I don't know why... but grandpa didn't allow me.. when Arjun bro caught those thieves and sloved our village problem.. I felt very bad on myself that I didn't do anything.. I am not fit to become army.. even I tired to go out in night at that time.. but grand parents didn't allow me or some workers who were sleeping in my home were telling to grand parents that I am going out in night... so I couldn't do anything.. grandpa gave open challenge to Arjun.. the way he deal after finding them and deal with wine factory... then I understood the power of money and if we had it we can do anything in money or in power...

I neglected grandpa and applied to army.. I got success too.. I wanted to join it.. so I informed grandpa that I am going to army... he hitted me nicely on that day.. I asked why... then he said about my dad, who was an army man.. and died as army man.. when my dad died.. I was little kid so they lied me that my dad died in accident...

later somehow I convinced him that I will become IPS.. but still my heart is not satisfied.. it still want to be an army man(pointing to his chest)..

I don't tell my grandpa is bad.. he is afraid that he will loose me.. he already lost his son and daughter who is mother of Priya.. and he himself took take care of me from the day I born.. my mom died after giving birth to me and dad use to come once in year.. so he was not allowing me to do any harmful work from my childhood.... he was spoiling me.. he never said no to me.. only one thing he requested that I shouldn't join army and I shouldn't die before him like my dad.. I am proud to be son of army man....

you know on what condition he allowed me to become IPS.. after joining as IPS he wants me to work for my village.. I agreed to it.. then I came here.. even I don't want to leave and hurt them.. as they are old now.. they can't tolerate bad news... like now I am injured right.. if my grandpa knows it... he will cry and get panic attack... so before coming here I hired some people to work in my farm land and take care them... when ever I have time.. I will go and visit them..." then he became silent.. even I don't know what to say.. after few seconds..

me:-" Sanju..the people who protect in border and here are same.. army are great stoping terrorist in border ... inside country and want a piece land.. But all their sacrifice gets waste as there are many internal terrorist who destroy this peace...they believe police to maintain peace in country.. though there are many most of them are money minded..So you must become an IPS officer who will destroy internal terrorist within country...Or else all the efforts of army people who sacrificed their Life for nation will be in vain.. so don't think yourself as like coward... sorry I should not have said that you are afraid to come out in night and not fit for IPS officer and all... sorry... "

sanju:-" it's k.. thank you... for understanding me.. "

then I hugged him.. for my surprise even he didn't reject... he also hug be back.. after few minutes I was trying to break hug... sanju hold me tightly..

sanju:-" let's stay like this for few more minutes..." I nodded my head and hugged him... after few minutes.. we came back... he dropped me and went back to his place...
