Sherry opened her eyes groggily, she looked around the room, but no one was there as she expected.

Her memories were still blank.

She tried to sit down on the bed, she felt her body was aching so much that she didn't feel like moving.

Yesterday's memory rushed back into her head.

She started to recall their activities yesterday.

"Shameless man" She cursed in a low tone when she saw how her body was aching so much.

She was not even sure of when she fell asleep, maybe she really fell asleep or she passed out when he was doing, when her body couldn't take it anymore.

The more she begged him to be gentle, the more he 'tortured ' like he drank an energy drink .

Or was it because she starved him for five days, when her monthly visitor came?

Her phone rang, bringing her out of her thoughts.

She stretched her hand and took the phone from the table.

She glanced at the screen.

It was Grandma.

It has been a while since she saw her last.

She didn't even call when the scandal that she abandoned her father was trending.

Sherry was ashamed to call her too.

And she was scared that she would scold her and cursed her that she was bad luck.

That was part of the reason why she clarified the scandal quickly.

Sherry picked the call and put the phone on her ear.

"Grandma," Sherry called.

"Baby Sherry, where are you?"

Sherry was stunned for a few seconds.

Baby Sherry?

What was that?

The name sounds weird but she liked it, no one has ever called her that.

Does that mean she is not mad at her?

She recovered quickly and replied calmly, her voice sounded like she was unaffected, "I'm at home, Grandma"

"Don't you feel bored? Will you come to accompany me and spend the afternoon with my friends?" Grandma asked.

Sherry was stunned once more, "Huh?" She unconsciously asked.

She was sure that the friends Grandma has won't be ordinary people but powerful. She was willing to introduce her to her friends?

Grandma thought she doesn't want to go and feigned grievance, she said in a sad voice, "Forget what I said, you youngsters won't want to accompany an old woman like me"

Sherry quickly reacted, she shook her head and said, "No Grandma I didn't mean…"

"It is a deal then, I'll ask the chauffeur to come and pick you up" Grandma said and hung up quickly, not giving her a chance to react.

Sherry "..."

She was speechless.

She wanted to reject her before because she felt that she didn't deserve it. She felt that her life was going smoothly aside from the scandal and that is making her more scared because her life has never been this smooth.

She always dreamed that Bryan asked for a divorce perhaps he is not obsessed with her anymore.

She was scared but she never let him know about her insecurities because she thought he would get angry and think that she was throwing a tantrum.

She sat down not moving, she contemplated on whether to go or not.

She took out her phone and texted Tara.

Sherry: Babe, are you there?

Her reply came quickly, it was obvious she was using her phone when Sherry texted.

Tara: Yeah

Sherry: Uhm… I have something to tell, so you can advise me.

Tara : Listening.

Sherry explained what happened to her and sent it to her.

Tara: Just go, you are his wife.

Sherry: But I felt like I didn't deserve it, I think the happiness came too soon.

Tara: Go girl, you deserved it all. Don't think otherwise anymore and just go.

Sherry: (Send a smile emoji) Thank you.

She sighed and decided to follow Tara's advice.

Just be natural and indifferent.

No one knows what tomorrow will be.

She stood up from the bed while gritting her teeth because of the ache in her body. She walked into the bathroom to take a shower.

She decided to lay down in the bathtub. Maybe her body will stop aching a little.

She won't sleep off this time.

She sat down inside the bathtub, the warm water made her feel relieved. She stayed in the same position for some minutes before she finally stood up from the bathtub and showered.

She walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her, she dared to do that because Bryan was not at home. If he was she would never have dared to do that so she won't wake up a sleeping Lion.

She walked towards her closet to choose clothes. She chose a gown that is long and could cover all the traces of the love bites Bryan left there yesterday.

She wore the gown and looked at herself in the mirror, it looked nice and elegant too. It was a gown Bryan bought for her the other day.

She put on light makeup.

She carried a bag and walked out of the house.

She saw a car parked outside the house the instant she walked out of the house.

The driver's door opened and a middle aged man walked out of the car.

"Are you Miss Sherry?" The man asked.

Sherry nodded, "You are the one Grandma sent to pick me up?" Sherry asked.

The middle aged man smiled, "That is right"

Sherry nodded and opened the car door, she got into the car so the man wouldn't open the car door for her.

The man smiled widened when he saw this.

Such a well mannered lady.

He opened the car door and got in too.

He started the car and drove out of the estate.

Sherry felt bored so she took out her phone and logged into her social media.

She always does that whenever she is less busy, she would scroll through social media aimlessly. Whenever she is bored.

That is why she always gets to see the latest news late, except if someone told her about it she wouldn't know something happened.
