Sherry opened her eyes groggily, she yawned and stretched her body.

Her phone rang .

She stretched her hand to take phone, she looked at her phone screen her eyes were dazed and looked dreamy.

It was Tara who was calling.

Sherry picked it and put the phone on her ear.

"Hello"

"You are asleep?" Tara asked feeling guilty.

Sherry yawned, "It is fine, I just woke up, What's up?"

"Are you busy?"

"No why?"

"Let's meet at Reedy Creek restaurant, I'm paying" Tara said.

"Sure, I'll make sure to eat expensive foods" She replied joking.

"Sure, I'm waiting " Tara said and hung up.

Sherry sighed, she couldn't believe that she had a friend like her now.

She is trying to open up to Bryan, she wanted him to tell him everything that happens in her life but she doesn't know how to. She put on a casual clothes.

She walked out of the house.

She didn't see David and she doesn't want to disturb him so she decided to drive by herself. She learned driving when she traveled to Mexico, she still had her driver license fortunately it hasn't expired yet so she had no problem driving.

She opened the car door and got in, she started the car and drove out of the house.

She parked in front of the restaurant Tara told her, she got out of the car and walked into the restaurant.

She took out her phone and text her.

Sherry: I'm here where are you?

Tara: Tell a waiter to bring you to room 5, the foods here are so delicious that I don't want to leave it for a second.

Sherry was stunned.

She is eating in a room?

The meals in the restaurant are all expensive that she felt her heart would bleed if she tried to eat a meal here, she would rather eat a five dollars meal than waste her money. She sees it as wasting money.

Sherry approached a waiter, "Hi, where is room 5?" She asked with a warm smile.

The waiter raised his head from the accounts he was doing and looked at her, he became dumbstruck.

He felt like he saw an angel.

He raised his hand and pointed at a direction.

Sherry smiled awkwardly when she saw the waiter dumbstruck expression, his ears turned red. She walked towards the direction he pointed at.

She opened the door and walked into the room. She instantly saw Tara stuffing herself with food

Sherry smiled helplessly, she sat down opposite her.

Tara raised her head and glanced at Sherry briefly before continuing stuffing herself with food, "You are here?" She Said.

"Yes" Sherry said and also started eating, she was feeling hungry too watching Tara eating like she was eating the most delicious food in the world made her even more hungry.

She took a spoon and hummed, enjoying it.

She could understand why people eat here even though it was so expensive, the food was very sweet that she couldn't resist and eat more.

She drank water after she felt that she was full, she took a tissue paper which was already on the table and wiped her mouth. Tara has finished eating too.

Tara sat down, she felt her stomach bloated. She rubbed her stomach and looked relaxed.

"Why did you ask me to come?" Sherry asked casually.

"Of course it is because I can't finish this delicious food, since you are my friend I called you so you can help me finish it" Tara replied cheekily.

Sherry arched an eyebrow at her silly expression.

Tara's face became serious, "I saw your press conference, I didn't know that your dad was a complete scumbag. He is so heartless" Tara said angrily.

She was fuming mad since she watched the press conference after the reporters uploaded the videos. She slammed the table angrily even her mom was stunned when she saw this. Her mom has never seen her getting angry like that so she was stunned and concerned about her.

She reassured her mom that everything is ok and left the house so she won't destroy more things. She came to the restaurant to vent her anger by eating and decided to call Sherry because Sherry would be heartbroken about her father's behavior but she didn't expect that the person she was concerned about was actually snoring, without caring.

"Oh it is fine" Sherry shrugged.

"Did you actually know that he called the house owner to send your family out of the house before?" Tara asked when she saw that Sherry was unaffected.

Sherry nodded, "Yes my mom told me, and she had no reason to lie against him so I believed her" Sherry admitted.

Her mom told her that the house owner told her that it was her husband who asked her to send them out of the house, Sherry was flabbergasted, she felt her father was inhumane and hated him. But she still doesn't believe it, it is not that she didn't believe her mom, she believed her mom but she still wanted to deny it that her father can't do such a thing. She already half believed it so when the truth was revealed today, she truly believed that her mom was not lying. Her father was a total scumbag.

Her mom told her that her grandparents didn't want her mom to marry her dad before they died but her mom was in her rebellious stage so she didn't follow their advice because she was also madly in love with her dad. Her grandparents didn't take care of her mom when she was young because they were always busy going to work. It was her great grandparents who took care of her mom before she also died, so her mom was not that close to her grandparents and she also blamed them for not taking care of her, so she didn't follow any of their advice because she felt that she was not young anymore and could decide things for herself.

She regretted not following her parents advice, she always told Sherry and Nancy about her regrets. Sherry was not also close to her grandparents, it was only Nancy who was close to her grandparents. Nancy also always calls her grandparents whenever she needs money to buy some things. Her mom doesn't want her grandparents to know that they don't have a place to stay anymore so she didn't her grandparents that her father ran away with their savings so Sherry knew that Nancy always call her grandparents but she didn't tell her mom so her mom won't get angry at Nancy, she always keep it a secret.

She is the type of person that doesn't know how to ask someone for something, even if the person was her biological blood. She felt awkward asking someone for something, especially money. She hates when someone rejects her, if she was rejected thrice she would never open her mouth to ask the person anything like money again.

Even her mom always complained about her character. She felt that it was bad, but Sherry doesn't care. She likes depending on herself instead, she would rather work than beg but she is stingy to herself but if someone really needs her help she would offer well except money.
