The bodyguards walked towards them and blocked the reporters from coming close to them so they wouldn't harm them.

Sherry smiled at the reporters, "No comments" She said coldly.

"Why are you not saying anything? Is it because the rumors are true?" A reporter asked boldly.

Sherry smiled and was about to say something when someone suddenly came and kneeled down in front of her heavily.

Sherry looked down in shock.

It was her scumbag father

Sherry froze.

It has been twenty years since she saw him last, when she saw the news she didn't really believe it and thought it was Wendy and Flow who were stirring trouble up.

She looked at him, he looked like he was 60 he looked thin, he wasn't like that before. He didn't even look this bad, it seems he suffered a lot too, she felt happy when she saw his haggard state but she didn't feel any ounce of pity for him. She just felt that he deserved it.

The reporters started taking pictures rapidly when they saw this, it was getting more exciting and it would make good news. Fortunately, they followed the caller's advice . If not they would have missed something juicy like this.

Paul, Sherry father kowtow, "Sherry, I'm really sorry, but can you help father? Father really loves you. I missed you a lot too, I can't abandon you, you are my blood. I know you have some misunderstanding about me, but I can explain" Her father looked at her and begged her.

He didn't explain that he left his family without caring about their wellbeing, he is acting pitiful so the media could side him. The people that don't understand the story will blame Sherry and call her unfilal without knowing that her father was the real scumbag.

Sherry felt it was amusing, he didn't explain how he ran away with his mistress. Even his words are ambiguous.

Sherry looked at him with a cold look, there was not a hint of warmth in her eyes, "Father? You think you are worthy? My father is already dead, "she said. She was agitated when she remembered how much she suffered, like it was only her in the world.

Where was he when she was being bullied in school?

Where was he when she almost got kidnapped in the night?

Where was he when she was running a fever with no one by her side?

Where was he when she was almost raped?

That is right!

She almost got raped.

They were homeless, and moved from one place to another.

Her mom left her at a stall that night, she went to get food.

The stall was dark with no light there.

She sat down there in the dark feeling cold and lonely, when a man figured entered the stall. The man reeked of alcohol and almost raped her, she shouted for help for almost ten minutes but no one came to save her, she was already losing hope when she suddenly felt that the weight on her was not there. She looked up and saw a man punching the drunkard, she quickly ran out of the stall without saying thank you to the man.

She waited for her mom outside, she didn't even tell her or anyone till today that something like that happened to her.

Bryan squeezed her hand tightly to comfort, when he noticed that her emotions were getting agitated. Sherry regained her calmness after she felt him squeeze her hand.

She looked at him, and saw the smile on his face, she felt calmer.

Paul's tears started falling, he started crying pitifully, "Yes, father knows that he is not Worthy to be your father, but can you forgive father? I know I'm not rich yet so I can't give you the life you want but father will work hard" Paul said with a sincere face.

The reporters felt that he was pitiful but they didn't dare to say anything because of Bryan.

Sherry was speechless.

He was twisting her words!

When people see this, they would think she doesn't want to acknowledge him anymore because he is poor and she married a tycoon.

She was about to defend herself when Paul spoke before she could say anything, he looked at Bryan, he was scared when he saw his eyes were cold and emotionless, but he gritted his teeth and forced himself to calm down "Are you my daughter's husband? You should help me take care of my daughter, I'll leave my daughter in your hands, I can't do anything for her now" He smiled sadly.

Sherry raised her head and looked at Bryan, she saw him nodded.

Her heart sank

Did he actually believe him?

Did he also think that she was unfilial and ungrateful?

Bryan noticed her eyes on him and stared at her.

Sherry forced out a smile, "Let's go home, I'm tired" She said.

Bryan nodded and looked at the bodyguards. The bodyguards immediately moved and escorted them to the car, the reporters followed them asking questions, Sherry ignored them, She didn't reply to any of their questions. Bryan opened the car door for her, she was about to get in when she suddenly stopped.

She turned her head and looked at the reporters, the reporters also stopped moving and waited for what she wanted to say.

Sherry looked at Paul who was acting like a pitiful father in the midst of the reporters with cold and emotionless eyes, "Tomorrow, I'll organize a press conference and answer all your questions tomorrow, at diamond hall" She said with a cold voice and got into the car.

Bryan didn't say anything, he closed the car door and walked towards the other side, he got in and sat down.

He started the car and drove out of the mall, he turned his head and looked at her but she was looking out of the window, she pursed her lips and looked sad.

His heart ached for her, if he had known he wouldn't have insisted that they come out today.

He decided not to disturb her so she could calm down.

But Sherry misunderstood his action and thought he believed what Paul said, her heart felt heavy when she saw that he chose to believe her father but didn't believe her.

Why don't they believe her?

The reason why she organized a press conference was so he wouldn't misunderstand her and believed her father instead.

She looked out of the window like she was looking at something interesting but her eyes and mind were blank.

And her emotions are running.

Nancy looked at the car driving away with disbelief, "Why would she do that?" She raised her head and looked at Wendy.

Wendy had a gentle smile on her face, "She just wanted to embarrass you in front of Steven, she called Steven and told him that you were at the police station so Steven could see your bad behavior" Wendy said with a confident smile.

"Oh I understand," Nancy said, her eyes full of disappointment.

She couldn't believe that she treated her sincerely but she was actually plotting against her.
