the next morning.

sherry opened her eyes as the ray of the sun blinded her momentarily, she closed her eyes and opened it back

she saw bryan, she smiled.

he looked so handsome even when he was sleeping.

bryan opened his eyes and smiled when he saw sherry.

it has been a while since he slept this comfortable and for so long.

he could not sleep and had a sleepless night when sherry was not by his side.

"did you sleep well?" he asked, his voice sounded hoarse because he just woke up.

sherry nodded, "what about you?" she asked.

she could sense his fatigue yesterday when he came, her heartache for him. he also had dark circles under his eyes.

"good," bryan replied.

"we are leaving this morning, okay?" bryan said.

"really? can we go home? but what about carl?" sherry asked.

"the police are on their way to arrest him. he has a lot of charges on him, it is impossible for him not to get a death sentence " bryan said, a cold glint flashed in his eyes.

beep!

his phone rang indicating that a text message came in.

bryan took his phone and unlocked it.

it was from cornelius.

"the police are positioned outside, are you ready?"

bryan texted him back, "yes they should come in"

"okay" cornelius' reply came faster.

bryan put his phone back into his pocket, "the police are here, outside" bryan said.

sherry nodded, "let's go outside then" she said.

"no, not yet," he said.

sherry looked at him, in confusion but she did not ask him any question.

she trusts bryan.

suddenly, they heard a commotion outside, downstairs.

"let's go outside and take a look," sherry said excitedly.

"no, you are pregnant. you should wait here i am coming " bryan said in a stern voice.

sherry pouted and looked at him with an aggrieved look.

bryan could not resist but bent down and bit her lightly in her lips.

"wait here obediently, okay?" he said in a whisper.

sherry nodded obediently.

bryan patted her on her head, "good girl" he said.

he turned around and walked out of the room.

he could hear carl's voice in the living room, he was telling the police that the report was wrong and that he did not kidnap anyone.

bryan sneered, he has been trying to hold his temper. he wants to beat him up badly so he could know the consequences of kidnapping his wife but he had to calm down because of sherry.

he walked down to the living room using the staircase.

he saw carl standing in front of the police blocking them.

"hehe, so mr carl really did not kidnap anyone?" bryan asked in a mocking tone.

carl turned around and looked back. carl was shocked to the core, "you… how .. did you get here?" he asked, he looked like he just saw a ghost.

"shocked?" bryan asked.

the leader of the policemen recognized bryan, he immediately walked towards him when carl was still frozen.

"mr tony, have you found your wife?" he asked.

"yes i did" bryan said with his gaze on carl.

"do you know which room she is in? i will ask one of my men to go and bring her, "he said.

bryan directed him to the room sherry was in.

the police man immediately instructed his subordinate to go and bring sherry.

"so what if you are here? sherry is mine" carl said, he was confident that sherry would not want to leave with him because of the misunderstanding he created between sherry and bryan.

"are you talking about when we drank in the bar and sherry found us? hehe" bryan sneered.

a cold glint of murderous intent flashed in his eyes.

he raised his hand and punched carl viciously in his face.

carl was caught off guard so he fell from one punch.

"you…" he wanted to curse when bryan gave him another punch.

then another punch.

by the time bryan was done, carl's face was now swollen like a pig face. he looked half dead. bryan was not satisfied and wanted to punch him again.

the police leader immediately held his hand, "mr tony, why are you hitting? he would die. you should not hit and let the police do their work" the police tried to persuade him.

he could not do anything even if bryan continued hitting him till carl crippled, because even his seniors feared and respected bryan.

"he hit my wife," bryan gritted his teeth.

he shoved the police off and immediately tried to punch carl who was already half dead.

"stop!"

bryan's hand froze in the air.

he turned around and looked back, he saw sherry with the police man who went to bring her down beside her.

"he is already half dead, you will kill him if you continue hitting him" sherry said when he realized that bryan had frozen.

"but he slapped you" bryan said he gritted his teeth at the end of his words.

"then let the police do their work," sherry said.

"yes i will make sure to satisfy you" the police immediately said, he also saw sherry's face and pitied.

he looked at carl in anger.

'this man is really a beast, he even hit a pregnant woman '

sherry's face suddenly turned pale, bryan stood up and walked towards her immediately abandoning carl.

"are you okay?" he asked when he saw a bid of sweat in her forehead.

"my water broke," sherry said.

bryan was shocked.

he immediately returned to his senses, he turned and looked at the police, "call the ambulance!" he shouted.

the police immediately did what he told them.

the ambulance arrived in thirty minutes, and the police took carl away.

sherry was wheeled into the ambulance, bryan followed them instantly.

sherry was pushed into the operating room.

bryan was asked to wait outside, he wanted to follow them in before but sherry said no.

before the doctor walked into the operating room, bryan grabbed his hand, and told him, "if the operation is too complicated and only one of them could survive, please i choose my wife"

the doctor nodded and walked into the room.

bryan said because the operation might be too complicated and the doctor might tell him that to choose either sherry or the babies. he would choose sherry, they can still make another baby or even adopt one.

sherry gave birth to triplet after five hours. bryan was already going crazy and what remained in his head was a little rationality.

before the doctor finally came out.

"congratulations, your wife just gave birth to triplets," the doctor smiled.

few minutes after the doctor left, the nurses wheeled sherry out of the room.

she opened her eyes and looked at the ceiling.

it was a hospital, her nose was sensitive and she could already smell those bitter tasting drugs.

"you are awake"

she heard someone beside her.

she turned her head and saw that it was bryan.

"yes, have you seen our babies? are they cute?" sherry asked eagerly.

bryan had an awkward expression on his face, how should he tell sherry that he was feeling so worried and forgot all about the babies. he does not even know what the baby's gender is.

sherry saw that he was silent and raised an eyebrow.

"what?" she asked.

"i have not seen the babies yet. you should rest grandma and godpa and godma are in the room the babies are" bryan said.

sherry's eyes widened "they are here?" sherry asked in shock.

"yes they wanted to come when i told them that you were still alive but i asked them not to, they could not sit still and came here immediately they heard that you gave birth " bryan replied.

sherry eyes softened at the thought of them.

tara also gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, she already gave birth to the baby before sherry did.

so her baby was a month older than sherry's children, but she was jealous and envious that sherry gave birth to three children at once.
