Chapter 141: Chapter 141
The next day….
Sherry lay down on the bed with her eyes wide open, she looked out of the window in deep thought. Thinking of ways to escape from Bryan's clutch.
It has been weeks since she last saw him and she does not want to see him anyways. He hired a nanny for her who took care of her everyday but she was really afraid.
'Knock'
She heard a knock on the door.
"Come in" She answered in a low and dull tone.
But the door remained closed.
It was deadly silent outside.
Sherry frowned even though she didn't want to get up from the bed but her instinct told her to do so.
She opened the door and looked around, no one was there. The house was also silent like she was the only one in the house.
That should be wrong, right.
The nanny should not have gone anywhere since she is the one incharge of taking care of her.
She closed the room door behind her, she walked towards the elevator and walked into the elevator.
Ding!
The elevator opened.
Sherry walked out of the elevator.
She saw a figure sitting down on the couch, the figure looked so familiar but Sherry doubt it
It should not be her.
"Who are you?" Sherry asked.
Was it Bryan's mistress? She can't even wait?
The figure turned around with a huge smirk on her face.
Sherry's face turned pale.
She pointed at Flow, "You… wh-at are you doing h-ere? Are you- not su-pposed to be in jail?" She stuttered not because she had a guilty conscience but just because she was shocked.
Flow thought Sherry was guilty instead.
"Are you expecting Big Brother Bryan to allow me to get imprisoned?" Flow asked with a provoking smile.
Sherry's eyes turned hostile once she heard Bryan's name, "Bryan released you?" She asked.
"Of course, Big Brother Bryan loves me so much that he could not bear for me to be imprisoned," Flow said with a smile.
"If he loves you, why didn't he marry you then instead of me?" Sherry asked, confused.
"Of course it was because a friend asked him to do so, besides he doesn't want me to go through the stress of pregnancy so you are just a surrogate, you are fortunate anyways " Flow said with a mockery smile.
Sherry's face turned white in fear.
Was it really Carl?
Carl really asked him to do all this.
Damn! She is doomed.
She can never allow them to achieve their goals.
Flow raised an eyebrow when she saw how miserable Sherry looked, she was just doing everything the man told her and it actually worked?
She knew that it was definitely not that simple.
Sherry immediately turned to walk back upstairs in a hurry ignoring Flow's existence.
Her heart was beating so fast in fear.
All she had in mind was to escape from here as quickly as possible.
If she allowed Carl to get her then she is gone for real this time around.
She immediately walked into the elevator, she immediately pressed the floor she was going to in an anxious way.
Ding!
She immediately walked out of the elevator.
"Sherry!" Flow called from the living room.
Sherry froze and she turned her robotically and looked at her from upstairs.
"Don't you want to find out if Bryan ever loved you?" Flow asked in a calculating voice.
Sherry frowned.
What the hell is she planning?
She suddenly had a bad feeling about this.
But she also wants to find out if Bryan ever loved her too..
"What do you mean?" Sherry asked, her voice was hoarse and trembled.
"Look at your front," Flow said, as she pointed at a particular place.
Sherry turned her head and looked at where Flow pointed at.
She was shocked when she saw fire, it was already getting close to her and she did not even notice because she was in deep thought.
Her heart skipped a beat.
She looked at Flow and also saw that fire had surrounded her too.
How did the fire become so much like this and no one noticed?
Sherry frowned.
She suddenly had a thought when she remembered Flow's question.
She looked at her flow, "You did this?" She asked.
"Yes," Flow said with a smile, not denying it.
"Are you crazy? I am carrying the child for Bryan and you no?" Sherry asked, she did not believe that Flow would really do this and hoped all this nightmare would end soon
"That is right, but I don't want your child anymore, you disgust me. It is fine there are better surrogates outside" Flow said with an indifferent smile.
"So, you want Bryan to keep fucking every woman out there?" Sherry asked, feeling a little anxious, she could feel the heat from fire already and she couldn't turn back because fire was behind her and In front of her too, there was nowhere she could hide.
She just hoped Flow would stop this madness soon.
"No worries, I just want you to find out that you are nothing to Bryan, let's wait soon" Flow said with a smile but she was actually also panicking deep down.
She was afraid she would die because the fire was so close to her but she tried to trust the man.
He said she won't die and be saved so she is waiting.
"What are we waiting for?" Sherry asked, with a bad feeling this time.
Her bad feeling intensified.
They suddenly heard a horn.
"Hear that?" Flow winked at her playfully.
She lay down on the floor, with her face covered.
'what is she doing?' Sherry thought.
Sherry heard the living room door open.
She fell down on the floor and fortunately her fall did not affect her stomach.
She saw a man's figure approaching Flow, she was sure that it was Bryan.
He gathered her into his arms and carried her out of the house.
Sherry wanted to talk but she could not, the smoke already entered her lungs making her unable to talk.
Tears fell down from her eyes.
Maybe death would be a sort of relief to her.
She prayed that when she incarnates in her next life, she does not want to go through everything she went through in this life again.
She touched her belly in heartache.
She was really sad that she could not meet her baby in this life.
"Baby, Mom is sorry. It is all mom's fault" She said her voice came out as a whisper.
A tear rolled down from her cheek.
She was feeling very sad.
It took her a long time to realize that she was still hurting and that experience had left a scar. She might have acted brave but she was just running from her mystery. She didn't get past it and she unknowingly let it ruin her life. She wish she had talk to someone or seek help!! She was drowning before she even realized it she already dead.
Yes love ruins her.
She should have not given love a chance in the first place, she should have gone ahead and lived her life as she planned. Now it was too late for her to regret it but if she was given a second chance she would never let love ruin her again.
She felt her eyes becoming heavy and it was closing, she tried to force it open but it was futile.
Her baby also started struggling in her stomach like it noticed that her mom was dying and it would also die with her.
She heard a footstep approaching before her eyes finally closed.
SHE DIED.
